Dr. Daniel Trott, Lab Director

Daniel W. Trott, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas of Arlington. Dr. Trott received his B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico. He earned his Ph.D., focusing on the vascular biology of aging, under the mentorship of Christopher Woodman at Texas A&M University. He completed two postdoctoral fellowships, first training with David Harrison at Vanderbilt University and then, with Tony Donato and Lisa Lesniewski at the University of Utah. In 2018 he launched the Integrative Immunology Laboratory at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dan enjoys spending time with his family, triathlon, cycling and exploring the southwest.
David Buckley, Postdoctoral Fellow

David Buckley received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University. His current research interests are the how the immune system plays a role in age related vascular dysfuncton.
Sogol Zahedi, PhD Student

Sogol Zahedi holds a D.V.M. degreeĀ and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Integrative Immunology Lab. Her research focuses on the role of CD8+ T cell immunosenescence in arterial aging and hypertension. Sogol enjoys collecting postage stamps from around the world.
Konner Terrebonne, Research Assistant Scientist

Konner Terrebonne received his Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from UT Arlington. He started his position as Lab Manager in October 2024 following a summer internship in the Integrative Immunology Laboratory. Konner likes to spend his free time playing basketball, working on his car, and collecting LEGO.
